Richard Oliver (New Zealand)

Richard Oliver (1830–1910) was a 19th century Member of Parliament in Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand.

He represented the City of Dunedin electorate from 1878 to 1881, when he retired. On 10 November 1881, he was appointed to the Legislative Council. He resigned from that role on 4 April 1901.[1]

He was a cabinet minister in the Hall Ministry, as Minister for Public Works 1879-81.[1]
